Carnegie Library - Galva

The historic Carnegie Library in Galva, Illinois.  On February 10, 1908, the city of Paxton was awarded a grant of eight thousand dollars by Andrew Carnegie for the construction of a public library.  Designed by architect J. Beadle, this library opened its doors in July, 1910 and still operates as a public library today (2021).
